Sylvan Lake Golf and Country Club Function Package

Event Venues & Rental Fees

Duffers Den: $600 + GST

  • Capacity: 100 with dance floor
  • Features: Pub-style setting with pool tables, dart boards, and private entry

Eagles Nest: $800 + GST

  • Capacity: 75 without dance floor, 45 with dance floor
  • Features: Brick fireplace, hardwood dance floor, scenic views

Tournament House: $1000 + GST

  • Capacity: 200 with dance floor
  • Features: Stone fireplace, spacious for large events

 

Additional Services & Policies

 

Deposit and Payment Policies

Deposit: $500 (non-refundable, non-transferable) required to secure booking

Full Payment: Due 8 days before the event, based on the guaranteed number of guests

Payment Methods: Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard

Food and Beverage

Exclusive Provider: All food and beverages provided by the club, except for wedding cakes

Alcohol Service: Strictly adheres to regulations, served from 10:00 am to 1:00 am

Bartender Fee: Applies if bar sales are under $900

Decorations and Music

Setup: Available a day in advance for a half-day fee

Restrictions: Confetti, rice, nails, tacks, and open flames prohibited

Music: DJs and bands must conclude by 1:00 am

Additional Services

Linens: are available for an additional charge, must be pre-ordered

Gratuity and GST: All prices are subject to a 15% gratuity and 5% GST

Planning Your Next Golf Tournament?

Whether it’s a corporate outing or a charity tournament, Sylvan Lake Golf and Country Club offers the perfect setting with competitive pricing and friendly service. Our tournament packages are customizable to meet the specific needs of your event!

The basic tournaments include:

  • Tournament Fee
  • Power Cart
  • Registration Setup: Ensuring a smooth start for participants.
  • Course Marshalling: guidance and assistance throughout the course.
  • Proximity Markers: Set up and recovery.
  • Customized Carts: Players’ names displayed on each cart.
  • Scorecards and Rules Sheets: are conveniently placed on carts.
  • Hole Signage: Set up and recovery.
  • Catered Meals: Options are available to complement your event.

Pricing, Additional Services and Policies

 

Pricing

Monday to Thursday: $115.00 per person

Friday to Sunday: $130.00 per person

Additional charges apply if more than 50 carts are needed.

Prices include golf, power cart, meals, and gratuities.
All prices include a 15% food gratuity and 5% GST.

Tournament Dinner Options

Baron of Beef or Prime Rib: Served with seasonal greens or Caesar salad, choice of potatoes, pasta salad, coleslaw, steamed vegetables, dinner buns, assorted sweets, coffee, and tea.

Booking and Payment

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking.

Final payment is due on the day of the event, with several payment options available, including check and major credit cards.

Additional Services

Lunch Ticket: Hot Dog or Sandwich with a Domestic Beer for $13.00 per person, includes Gratuity and GST.

Meeting Rooms & Rental Fees

Sylvan Lake Golf and Country Club offers three meeting spaces:

  • Duffers Den: $300.00 + GST
    Accommodates 100 people, pub-style atmosphere.
  • Eagles Nest: $400.00 + GST
    seats 75 people, features a brick fireplace and hardwood dance floor.
  • Tournament House: $1000 + GST
    Our largest facility, which seats 200 people, includes a stone fireplace.

Payment: Full payment is required 8 days before the event. Payments can be made via cash, debit card, Visa, or MasterCard.

Tables: Octagon shape, square, or rectangular tables provided.

Decorating: Available a day in advance for a half-day fee.

Linens: Available at $4.00 per person; pre-order required one month prior to the event.

Food & Beverage: Sylvan Lake Golf & Country Club is the sole supplier, including alcoholic beverage service from 10:00 am to 1:00 am.

Food Options

Meeting Breakfast Menus: Options include assorted muffins and Danish, breakfast sandwiches, or a full scrambled eggs breakfast.

Meeting Lunch Menus: Choices range from soup and sandwich buffets to BBQ beef on a bun and build-your-own burger setups.

Meeting Dinner Menus: Options include dishes such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roasted Pork Loin, and Prime Rib.

Additional Information

All food and beverage services include a 15% gratuity and are subject to a 5% GST.

Alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the club and are subject to the club’s alcohol service policy.
